These are the voyages

When I was in my twenties, I went on a big trip to Europe.  Before the trip, my aunt Jane gave me a blank travel journal.  It turned out to be one of the best things I put in my luggage.

Since then, I have found different ways to document trips and keep track of travel.  Now that Cas and I are about to head off on the best trip either of us could conjure, I decided to keep a travel blog here so our friends and family could keep track of our progress.  It's a very special trip, as Cas and I will be married by the time we get home.

Here's the whole thing in easy-to-digest map form:
We'll leave on July 5th and be gone for 25 days.  The trip starts in Melbourne, Australia and ends on Denarau Island in Fiji, where we have our wedding planned.

I will attempt to post to this blog whenever I get some decent wi-fi along the way.  It turns out you can blog from a cellphone.

We have just about two weeks left to pack and get ready.  I can hardly wait.

As for the page you're reading, I hope this blog turns out to be something our friends and family find interesting. It seemed like the best way to keep everyone up to date without racking up a big phone bill.  Hopefully, this works out.  Consider this your postcard, everyone.
