One leg at a time

We have arrived at Los Angeles International Airport and made our way to the correct terminal. Because we cleared security in Dallas (and it was a snap, there), we avoided what appears to be a rather arduous security process here in the city of angels. We were walking through a sparsely populated hallway above this:

 

We have just under two hours until our Qantas flight to Melbourne. It is my firmly held belief that the mathematical probability of there being more babies on this airplane that there were on the last one is so slim that we are bound to fare much better for the 16-hour flight.
